To League Secretaries
Covering the district of South Kesteven in Lincolnshire
Leisure and the Environment is currently undertaking a study of open space, sport and recreation facilities, commissioned by South Kesteven District Council, as requested by the government in line with the recommendations in Planning Policy Guidance Note 17: Open Space, Sport and Recreation.
The overall aim is to improve the level of provision of such facilities throughout the district and to support policies aimed at protecting provision and securing contributions from developers.
As part of the study, we are assembling information on where local clubs play, the provision of facilities and the quality and capacity of these facilities to meet demand from the local community and clubs for recreational play, competition and sports development.
Rather than go out individually to all clubs, we would greatly appreciate an overview from you as people involved in administering these sports.
We would be very interested in any comments you have, and if you could answer the questions this word document.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could reply by Monday November 24th, many thanks.
If you have any queries regarding the Strategy or would like more information, please contact Penny Mould, Senior Planning Officer at South Kesteven District Council on 01476 406566 or P.Mould@southkesteven.gov.uk.
Please return your comments either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to:-
